A corrosion-resistant alloy fused onto a carbon or low-alloy steel base. Single-sided or double-sided, explosion bonded or hot-rolled, in the thickness combinations your design calls for.
The same composite idea formed into a tube: a corrosion-resistant bore inside a pressure-bearing steel wall, fused atom-to-atom so the liner can never collapse or work loose.

In a solid stainless vessel or pipeline, only the surface that touches the medium needs alloy. Everything behind it is there to hold pressure — and carbon steel does that job just as well, for a fraction of the price.
The right grade depends on what the metal touches — chlorides, acids, temperature and flow. We supply the full ladder, and we will tell you honestly when the cheaper grade is the correct one.
Anywhere a carbon steel wall would corrode away and a solid alloy wall would cost too much.
A clad plate fails in service for one reason: a bond that was never fully bonded. That is why the whole surface — not a sample of it — goes through ultrasonic inspection before it leaves the works, and why every delivery travels with a full material test certificate.
Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TÜV or Intertek can be arranged at your nominated stage of production, at cost, on request.
High humidity, monsoon rain and coastal salt spray are hard on ordinary steel. For Thailand and the wider ASEAN region we routinely supply 304 and 316L plate with passivated and protected surfaces, 2205 duplex for chloride and seawater duty, and moisture-barrier export packing specified for the tropical voyage rather than the domestic one.
